At Alpha Psychiatric Associates LLC, the first appointment is designed to establish care and begin addressing your behavioral health needs in a structured, professional setting. As a teaching practice, upon your consent, our students will participate in your sessions. The decision to allow a student to participate in your session is totally up to you; however, we appreciate your consideration as we continue to train the next generation of psychiatric providers.

• Arrival and Check-In
  Upon arrival, you will meet with our administrative team to complete any necessary paperwork, verify your information and make payments if applicable before the session begins.
• Initial Assessment
  A licensed clinician will review your medical and behavioral health history, discuss your current concerns, and ask relevant questions to better understand your situation. This session will last between 60–90 minutes.
• Planning Next Steps
  Before the visit ends, the clinician will outline recommended treatment options and, as a teaching practice, guide you on the next steps toward ongoing care.
